Sticker sheets with cut lines, made in your browser
Drop your designs. Gridback traces a border around each one, packs them onto a Cricut, Silhouette or print-shop sheet, and hands you the print file and the cut file. Your images never leave this device.
Drop PNG, WebP or SVG designs anywhere on the tool, paste them, or
Images are processed on this device and never uploaded.
White border between the art and the cut line.
Printed beyond the cut so small misalignment shows no paper edge.
Medium (recommended)
Pixels more than 9 % opaque count as artwork. Raise it to ignore soft shadows.
Each sticker is its own piece: cut through vinyl and backing.
Current Design Space maximum on 8.5 × 11 in paper for supported machines (Cricut help, edited August 2026). Design Space adds its own sensor marks and bleed. Limits vary by machine and paper, and Design Space has the final say (Cricut help, checked October 2026).
Printable area: 7.34 × 9.84 in on a 7.44 × 9.94 in page.
For Cricut: upload the print PNG to Design Space as a Print Then Cut image. The SVG holds the same cut lines if you want to attach them yourself.
File options
Transparent lets Design Space find each sticker's outline, so a transparent PNG ends exactly at the cut line (no bleed; Design Space adds its own). Sheets with registration marks are always white.
Roland VersaWorks documents one case-sensitive name, CutContour (manual). Mimaki RasterLink accepts any name that starts with CutContour (guide), so CutContourSheet works there. For a Roland shop, ask how they want the sheet outline, or set both names to CutContour.
0.25 pt is Roland's recommendation; 0 means the thinnest line the device can draw.

-
Drop and size
Add PNG, WebP or SVG files with transparent backgrounds. Set each sticker's finished size and how many copies you want.
-
Trace and pack
The border follows each design's outline at the offset you choose. Stickers are packed tightly, rotated when it saves space, onto as many sheets as needed.
-
Print and cut
Download a 300 dpi print PNG, an SVG or DXF cut file, or a CutContour PDF for a printer-cutter. One ZIP holds the lot.
Which file goes to which machine
Sheet limits were checked on 17 October 2026 against the manufacturers' help pages. They change with software updates, so the presets say where each number comes from.

Frequently asked questions
How big can a Cricut Print Then Cut sticker sheet be?
Cricut's help page (edited August 2026) lists 7.44 × 9.94 in on Letter paper and 7.2 × 10.62 in on A4 for Explore, Maker, Venture and Joy Xtra machines; Joy 2 is narrower. The older 6.75 × 9.25 in area fits inside all of those limits. Design Space has the final say for your machine, so Gridback offers all three as presets.
Are my sticker designs uploaded anywhere?
No. Tracing, packing and every export run in your browser. Images are saved only in your own browser storage so the project is there next time; nothing is sent to a server.
What border (offset) should a sticker have?
One eighth of an inch (about 3 mm) is a common default: wide enough to hide small cutter misalignment, narrow enough to look tidy. Go to 1/16 in for simple round shapes, or up to 3/16 in for spiky art with thin parts.
What is a CutContour PDF?
A print-ready PDF where the cut line is a vector path in a spot color named CutContour. RIPs such as Roland VersaWorks read that name and send the path to the cutter instead of printing it. Gridback writes the artwork as an image and the cut line as a 0.25 pt CutContour stroke.
What resolution should sticker artwork be?
Aim for 300 dpi at the printed size: a 3 in sticker needs about 900 pixels across. Gridback shows the effective dpi of every design at the size you choose and warns below 300.
Can I make kiss-cut sticker sheets instead of single die-cut stickers?
Yes. Choose "Kiss-cut sheet" in the Cut lines tab. Each sticker gets a kiss cut and one rounded outline cuts the whole sheet free; in the PDF the outline uses its own spot color so the shop can set a deeper cut for it.
Which file do I need for a Silhouette?
Print the PDF or PNG with registration marks at 100 % scale, then open the DXF cut file in Silhouette Studio with the same registration mark settings. Gridback lets you match the mark length, thickness and inset to your Studio panel.
